differentiation and price. Concentrate on differentiation to avoid a price war, unless you know you will win because your costs are lower – if if they are, it’ll still be painful. People don’t quite easy. Good luck.

Without knowing what your service is, not sure how helpful this information will be.

    You want specifics.

First, you need to find out how customers find you. What are their habits? If its the internet – you might have a shot.

Second, look at the local search results and see how competitive things are on the internet in your area. You might be able to do this on your own or you might need to bring a pro to access. Its a bit like using an architect to sketch out your plans first before you build, It can save more time and money than you think.

If you can get your company’s info and phone on a majority of the listings on page 1, then it will take time to turn the tide, and then by providing a quality product or service.

That’s about all someone can tell you without knowing more specifics such as – average revenue from a new client, how much your overhead is, etc
