How do I go about asking the child support/ family law courts for contempt for non-payment?

In December we are going to court for unpaid child support. Every month he is ordered to pay $943.36, but he has failed to do so for years. His total now owed to his children is over 9K. What options do I have without an attorney? Please help!

Why is his support amount so much? How many kids do you have? Call your attorney general & they will go after him for unpaid support, u won’t need a lawyer.

I believe it depends on the laws in your state as well, but I had to press collection of child support as well. I was referred to the DA to have the collection process started, and after communicating the issue (simple and short, amazingly) they took care of it ALL~

    Good luck~
