Actually, in my personal experience as a teen, I see more people going back to religion…maybe not a specific one, but they’re searching for something…

Some, not all. It’s common. It’s been around for years. It’s called rebellion.

Many young people are frustrated with the normal and old religions that have dominated life for along time such as judaism, christianity, and sometimes Islam. Many of them are looking for a religion that says who they are and that they can believe in and feel its the one for them, also without the mess of all the constraints of most religions with all the talk of sin, commandments and so on. In this day and age young people want to have everything they do in life tell people that this is who they are and what they believe when they do it. I think a big problem is that children are made to follow their parents religion from the moment they are born and its the only one they know until they are close to being done with school and then they realise even more at that point the religion they were raised into is not the one that they believe in. I left the religion i was raised into and went to a religion that i believe in and that i can say shows who i am and what i believe, just like many others can.
