The answers were on point but the questions were what one expects on Redeye. Seems to me that Influence on the judicial confirmation process is an indirect factor here. A congressman’s opinions are important. They are heard by opponents and supporters and that is a form of influence that reaches beyond the congressman’s sphere of direct power.

It wouldn’t matter which woman Obama picked for the Supreme Court. GOP dumb-shits can only handle women as dumb as Scarah Failin as their LACK of masculinity doesn’t feel threatened then. But, if you find a woman who’s intelligent as Sotomayor or Hillary, they feel threatened, become full of hate & show their well-known hypocrisy.

The dumb-shit GOPs have to face the FACT Sotomayor WILL be nominated, because if she isn’t, the GOP will lose the ENTIRE Hispanic & women vote in 2010 & 2012. LOL!

Leading questions, irrelevant answers. A member of the House has ZERO influence on judicial confirmations.
