This is an editing project of mine from college. I have yet to see the official trailer but I have seen the movie several times. The goal of this video is to peak your interest in the film. If it does this in about 2mins and 30seconds or if it falls short let me know. Also let me know if you have seen the official trailer and which is better. More about the movie: Al Pacino Lowell Bergman Russell Crowe Jeffrey Wigand Christopher Plummer Mike Wallace “60 Minutes” producer Lowell Bergman sniffs a story when a former research biologist for Brown & Williamson, Jeff Wigand, won’t talk to him. When the company leans hard on Wigand to honor a confidentiality agreement, he gets his back up. Trusting Bergman and despite a crumbling marriage, he goes on camera for a Mike Wallace interview and risks arrest for contempt of court. Westinghouse is negotiating to buy CBS, so CBS attorneys advise CBS News to shelve the interview and avoid a lawsuit. “60 Minutes” and CBS News bosses cave, Wigand’s hung out to dry, Bergman is compromised, and the CEOs of Big Tobacco may get away with perjury. Can the truth will out? Written by {jhailey@hotmail.com} Based on a true story about a CBS 60 Minutes-episode in 1994 on malpractices in the tobacco industry, that was not aired because CBS parent company Westinghouse objected. Pacino plays the 60 Minutes Producer. Written by Viktor Frölke {frolke@aol.com} This film tells the true story of Jeffrey Wigand, a former tobacco executive, who decided to …

@tinaz26 once the rain sets in I switch to another song from The Insider Soundtrack – 10 “LB In Montana” Score by Graeme Revell. If you like these two tracks, buy the soundtrack. I love it. Lisa Gerrard was featured in Gladiator as well. If you like her voice look up Dead Can Dance as well.

@tinaz26 Before the 1st scene with Lowell Bergman (Pacino) in the rain the song is from The Insider Soundtrack – 08 – Faith by Lisa Gerrard & Pieter Bourke.

Fuck!! I am watching this movie as I type, and I’d rather have a normal job than to be rich and going through all that shit that Jeffery and CBS journalists went through on this case!!!

Thanks for the post. I had a film editor look at it as well. She said exactly the same thing, it was a bit slow but I made good choices in the trailer.

I’d already seen this movie but I think your trailer’s quite good actually. A bit slow, maybe, but it’s the kind of trailer that makes you wanna see it without having to show sex or violence, but just what the movie really is about. The feeling of it is similar to the feeling of The Insider.
I like it.
