I don’t think there are any that offer their services pro bono. Just go with a public defender and if they are not doing the job of defending you properly, require them to. It is their job and I have seen some really great public defenders but more so public defenders who have forgotten that their job is to defend you-not get you a deal.

Your local office of the ACLU.
If your case is special somehow, they will definitely get you some help. If your case is not special, then you will have to use the public defender’s office.

Call your local bar association and ask for a referral. But most drug lawyers and criminal defense lawyers will not work for free.
