I will be graduating from my community college in may with my ASB (Associates in the Science of Business) in General Business. I will be moving in may as well, and I am wondering what jobs I should apply for there. I think need to start applying now, do you think I need a resume too?

You definitely need a resume. Without a resume, it is like putting in an application somewhere for a minimum wage job. You now have a degree and that in itself is worthy of a resume. Take some time to make a resume. Research on the internet how to format it, what to include, what not to include. Get help from a friend or a resume place but please, do your self a favor and make a resume. It will sell you or if it isn’t written nice, it won’t sell you.
So you have a degree in general business so that would qualify you for a variety of management jobs….. an office manager assistant, a bookkeeper, manager trainee at almost any fast food restaurant and manager trainee at some mid priced restaurant, desk job in a school or superintendents office, manager or trainee at a store in a mall, a drug store, …..
The sky is the limit. Most important thing of you having this degree is that it will get you into the 2nd or 3rd level of jobs in a mall, restaurant, office building, etc. Now you won’t have to start at the bottom.
I strongly suggest you go to an advisor at your college and ask for some advice on your resume and where to apply first. They will have a great idea for ideas in your area. When you go, have a resume drafted so they can look at it an critique it so you will know where to start to change it.
If you don’t know how to find an advisor at your college, as one of your teachers. Most teachers will be able to help you also so maybe talk to an advisor and a teacher or two. You can get a lot of different ideas that way.
Good luck!
